When I’m feeling especially casual on a hot summer’s day, I turn to sheer, lightweight fabrics that move freely. There’s nothing worse than being hot and feeling constricted by your clothing. In order to keep the look more posh and less like a slight step up from a mumu, you’ve got to pay special attention to the details. In this look, flat gold buttons, a metal heel plate and coral lips make a statement of put-together chic, while a kitschy phrase bracelet, comfy jogger shorts and a tied-up blouse exude laid-back relaxation.
